Cathay Pacific made headlines at the turn of the year following the reveal of a stunning ‘lettuce leaf’ retro livery that will be deployed on one of the Hong Kong flag carrier’s Airbus A350-900 widebody twinjets to celebrate the airline’s 80th anniversary. This model, along with the larger A350-1000 and the older Boeing 777-300ER, serves Cathay Pacific’s routes to and from Australia and New Zealand, with Oceania being an important market.
