Flight attendants are onboard commercial aircraft primarily for safety, and secondly, for service. They are there to ensure that passengers and crew remain safe and well during every flight and continue monitoring and assessing conditions in the aircraft throughout the flight. The cabin environment is unusual, and the dynamics change all the time. flight attendants are very aware of this.
