Tigo Paraguay raises US$77m in landmark local-currency bond issue

Now Corporation has announced its intention to appeal against the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) decision not to renew its telecoms licence, a move that has rendered the operator inoperative. 

Veon welcomed a letter from shareholder Shah Capital, which criticised the operator’s board for poor stock price performance, and agreed there is potential for improvement.
