The Infinity Ward co-founder and Respawn Entertainment leader was driving a Ferrari 296 GTS on Angeles Crest Highway north of Los Angeles when it veered off the road, hit a barrier, and caught fire around 12:45 p.m.
He was trapped inside and pronounced dead at the scene; a passenger was ejected and died later at a hospital.
