The Free Spirit loyalty program from Spirit Airlines can be very beneficial for frequent flyers with the airline. It is very much targeted at just this, though, and does not offer the widespread earning and redeeming possibilities of the larger legacy airline loyalty programs. And with both earning and redeeming points linked to cash fares, there are no real “sweet spot” opportunities for good-value tickets.
