Jess Wilson snubs Metro Tunnel opening in fatal move

Jess Wilson was asked if she would be riding the Metro Tunnel on its opening yesterday, she said she was too busy.

This is a potentially a fatal mistake. Over 70,000 people joined the open day on Sunday November 30th making the new metro tunnel system a winner in the eyes of many.

The tunnel will greatly assist the movement of passengers through what is now Australia’s largest city. For Jess Wilson to snub this important event shows one thing has not changed when it comes to the Liberal Party of Victoria.

The Liberal Party of Victoria despise investment in much needed Public Transport Infrastructure. You only need to think back to the 1990’s when the then Liberal premier Jeff Kennett refused to access a full funding package from the Federal Government for a train line to their airport.

Their investment in the CityLink project via a holding in Transurban said it all. The liberals cannot be trusted on infrastructure, they do not want it and it cost them them office.
