Air Canada flies proudly as the nation’s flag carrier and largest airline. The airline maintains primary hubs at Montréal–Trudeau International Airport, Toronto Pearson International Airport, and Vancouver International Airport, with additional focus in other cities such as Calgary, Halifax, and Ottawa. Its fleet continues to grow with more than 200 airplanes, according to ch-aviation. Of these, 40 aircraft are the Boeing 787-8 (eight), and 787-9 (32). The airline is a founding member of the Star Alliance, the world’s largest airline alliance, which boasts 17,500 daily flights to over 1,150 airports in 189 countries.
