US charter carrierNew Pacific Airlines has ceased operations, with an internal email to the airline’s staff explaining that its suspension has been prompted by an inability to sustain economic viability amid ongoing losses. The last few years have been something of a roller coaster for the Alaskan startup, which, among other things, has had to change its name and shift from scheduled operations to charter flights in order to stay afloat.
