Lobby group Midlands Connect has released research that it claims backs its case that improving the Castle Line rail corridor in the East Midlands would boost economic growth in the tourism and hospitality sectors.
More than 500 East Midlands Railway customers have already made use of a new type of ticket that gives discounts of up to 50 percent on regular advance tickets.
