Earlier this week, a Skywest Airlines Embraer E175 operating a flight on behalf of American Airlines under the Fort Worth-based US ‘big three’ legacy carrier andoneworld founding member’s American Eagle regional brand had to make an unplanned return to Omaha. The jet had just departed from the Nebraskan facility for California, but turned around amid fears of an attempted breach of the plane’s cockpit.
