Middle Corridor records another 39% container growth

Container trains along the Middle Corridor are continuously increasing. During the first nine months of 2025, they grew by 39% compared to the same period last year, according to the Kazakh Minister of Transport quoting Azerbaijani data.
The news was shared during a recent intergovernmental meeting between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan. The two countries pledged to further work on the current bottlenecks along the Middle Corridor. Between 2023 and 2024, the number of container trains grew 26 times, reaching 287.
