On October 3rd, 2025, a Ryanair flight from Pisa to Prestwick had to make an emergency landing at Manchester airport. The jet had attempted to land at its destination several times but high winds prevented this from happening. After attempts at Prestwick and later at Edinburgh, the 737-800 safely landed at Manchester with enough fuel remaining for just a few more minutes of flying. Talk about a close call!
