Sydney Swans Propose Major Trade for Carlton’s Charlie Curnow

The Sydney Swans have offered their No. 11 draft pick, a 2026 first-round selection, and forwards Will Hayward and Ollie Florent to acquire Carlton’s dual Coleman Medal winner Charlie Curnow, along with the Blues’ compensatory pick 22.

Curnow, contracted until 2029, toured Sydney’s facilities on October 13, completed a medical, and indicated openness to a pay cut to enable the move amid his request for a fresh start.

With the AFL trade deadline set for October 16, Carlton weighs the proposal against cap constraints and internal pressures.

  1. The swans have been here before with great forwards joining their ranks. Too big ones come to mind, Tony Lockett and Buddy.

    Will Curnow be yet another?

  2. He cannot stay at carlton he has lost all the respect he had.

    He must be traded.

The carlton faithful will never forgive him.

  3. Sydney is reportedly prepared to offer Will Hayward, Ollie Florent, Pick 11 and their 2026 first-round selection for Carlton’s Charlie Curnow and a late pick.

  4. Latest he is going to Sydney. He said stuff carlton they were awful to me I hate them.

He has tickets on himself slivers he is the best in the game. I don’t rate him he is injury prone but hates carlton and carlton supporters will now hate him.

He has been pissed all over carlton and his team mates.
