Few airlines are suffering as greatly as Spirit, which has entered bankruptcy protection—with the myriad of consequences, including on consumer confidence—for the second time in a year. As part of the process, the carrier—which has already slashed summer flights by over a quarter—will exit 11 US cities entirely.
