On September 1, Kenya Airways will begin Nairobi-Paris CDG-Amsterdam-Nairobi flights. Unfortunately, but unsurprisingly, fifth freedom traffic rights are not available between the two European airports and major SkyTeam hubs. Due to some of the airline’s Boeing 787s remaining grounded, the triangular operation will help overcome the frequency reduction to Paris while still ensuring an early morning departure from Nairobi.
