Over the weekend, an American AirlinesAirbus A321-200 making a transcontinental journey from Philadelphia to Phoenix had to divert to Washington DC after an in-flight fire involving a passenger’s device. The situation saw the twinjet make an unplanned touchdown after less than an hour in the air at Dulles Airport.
