Second Bratislava to Austria line to be electrified

SLOVAKIA: Infrastructure manager ŽSR has started work on the long-planned electrification of the short 2·4 km single-track link from Devínska Nová Ves to the Austrian border at Marchegg.
Ahead of the 27th anniversary of Hong Kong’s return to the motherland on July 1, the city is set to open a crucial new tie with the Chinese mainland by launching high-speed rail services to Beijing and Shanghai.
