The Severn Valley Railway’s ‘Steam into Stories’ event on Saturday 13 April has proved so popular that the heritage railway has recruited two extra storytellers.
As we previewed last month, this morning (Friday 25 July), the iconic steam locomotive 60103 ‘Flying Scotsman’ hauled the first passenger service across the Severn Valley Railway’s Mor Brook bridge since its repair.
The 2857 Society has signed a formal agreement with Riley & Son to mechanically overhaul GWR 2-8-0 No. 2857.
