More people than ever before are exploring our great state, thanks to the regional fare cap.
Over the past year, more than 22 million trips have been taken across our network, saving Victorians $50 million!
In March 2024, almost 2.16 million trips were taken on V/Line services – our busiest month on record.
And to make sure passengers can get where they need to go, we have added more than 1000 special services on top of the more than 3700 scheduled rail and coach services we run every week.
We’re delivering more services, more trains, cheaper fares and major projects, supporting the travel needs of communities across Victoria every day.

Services are cramped and changes recently to the network management plan have not helped especially into and out of South Geelong.
