New York based JetBlue, is heading to Vero Beach, Florida, and while it’s great news for passengers, the airport executives feel ‘blindsided’, due to federal law allowing them to operate to the Floridian airport, but the thrn in the side of the airport, is that it will make the airport exceed it’s service cap of 100,000 passengers, meaning that the airports grants will drop from 80% to 50% from the Florida Department of Transportation.
