Boeing 747 Suffers Engine Pod Strike While Landing In Taipei

Yesterday, aBoeing 747 freighter flying to Taiwan touched down in a rather more eventful fashion than might otherwise have been planned. The 747-8F, which was operating a cargo flight from Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) to Taipei Taoyuan International (TPE) for UPS Airlines, suffered an engine pod strike upon landing.
