How Many Military Jets Does The United States Produce Annually?

The United States and China are, by a significant margin, the largest producers of combat jets. While almost exact numbers for US production are known as Lockheed Martin and Boeing release their annual production numbers, estimates for Chinese production carry a wide margin of uncertainty. The US’s tactical fighter jets are currently produced by Boeing and Lockheed Martin. This can undersell Northrop Grumman as a major aerospace defense contractor, which is heavily involved in the F-35 program and is developing many of the secretive ISR stealth drones.
