There are several nonstop options between Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and New York JFK Airport (JFK). However – for a variety of reasons – some people choose to fly indirectly, often through unconventional or otherwise odd cities across the United States. Using data from the US Department of Transportation, I take a look at some of the most common and the most unusual ways people got between LAX and JFK last year.
