Melbourne start-up aims to drone deliver to remote communities

The start-up says its UAV systems will be able to carry payloads of 60 to 90kg at speeds of 120km/h, with a maximum range of 1,100km and fuel consumption of 21km per litre.

The successful and safe drop was reportedly conducted from a Royal Australian Air Force C-27J Spartan aircraft off Tioman Island. The achievement is intended to demonstrate the growing complexity and capability of Five Power Defence Arrangements training.
