A Boeing 777 has had to divert back toLondon Heathrow Airport (LHR) in the UK on consecutive days this week while attempting to fly westbound on two different transatlantic flights to the US. The American Airlines jet, which is an example of the 777-300ER model that bears the registration N722AN, is currently scheduled to have a third crack at making the journey across the Atlantic Ocean this afternoon.
