As we previewed last month, this morning (Friday 25 July), the iconic steam locomotive 60103 ‘Flying Scotsman’ hauled the first passenger service across the Severn Valley Railway’s Mor Brook bridge since its repair.
The Severn Valley Railway held its fifty-second Annual General Meeting on Saturday 22 June, with Chair Chris Walton explaining to shareholders that the Railway had faced ‘commercial turmoil’ in 2022-2023 and had made substantial cost savings.
