Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-700 Dives 475 Feet To Avoid Midair Collision

A Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-700 narrowly avoided colliding with another aircraft over Southern California on Friday. During its climb out of Burbank, the pilots were reportedly notified by a collision avoidance alert, prompting the Las Vegas-bound aircraft to rapidly plummet nearly 500 feet.
