The Australian Army helicopter was flying near the town of Timber Creek in the Northern Territory when it grounded on Wednesday evening; however, the incident only came to light in recent media reports.
In an update, the airline also revealed it had implemented additional security measures and said it was working with experts to “forensically analyse” the impacted system.
Current assets, including cash on hand and inventory, have not been factored into the calculations as Air Vanuatu’s available financial information is “significantly out of date,” according to the liquidators.
