Memphis International Airport (MEM) is today a FedEx Express hub, sometimes referred to as the FedEx Superhub, but it also used to be a significant hub for Northwest and then Delta Air Lines. Today, the airport is the world’s second-busiest cargo hub, but its days as a major passenger hub are long behind it.
