The Boeing 747 is one of the largest commercial jets ever built and a testament to human ingenuity. Revolutionizing the long-haul travel game upon its entry into service in the 1970s, Boeing would maintain production of the ‘Queen of the Skies’ for over half a century before its final-ever 747 rolled off the production line in 2023. While the 747 is more commonly seen as a freighter nowadays, there are still over 40 passenger 747s in service, most of which are the latest 747-8i variant.
