There are dozens of different aircraft in service with the United States Air Force, many of which have key combat roles. While next-generation stealth fighters like the Lockheed Martin F-34 Lightning II tend to get all the attention, other jets within the organization’s inventory are significantly less flashy yet play a major role in combat.
