Why SAS Passengers Became EuroBonus Point Millionaires

Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) recently made headlines after launching a challenge for its frequent flyers that would make them millionaires (in EuroBonus points, at least) following its completion. After switching airline alliances from Star Alliance to SkyTeam last year, the carrier challenged its frequent flyer program members to travel with 15 of its new partner airlines within less than three months to win the million-point reward.
