During the Paris Air Forum on June 13, 2025, Air France-KLM CEO Benjamin Smith stated that the airline group has no regrets about retiring the Airbus A380, as the aircraft was not bringing profits outside of the summer peaks, according to a report by FlightGlobal. Air France retired its fleet of Airbus A380s in June 2020, after 11 years of operation.
