On Saturday, June 14, United States-based aerospace manufacturer Boeing delivered a brand-new Boeing 787-9 aircraft to Chinese carrier Juneyao Airlines, according to reports published by Reuters. With trade tensions between the United States and China currently at all-time highs, this new aircraft delivery is noteworthy as it demonstrates a continued thawing of tensions between the two powers. Boeing is the United States’ single largest exporting company, and China is one of the airline’s most important markets.
