The Trump administration-led Department of Transportation (DOT) has delayed the enforcement of the final rule on ‘Ensuring Safe Accommodations for Air Travelers With Disabilities Using Wheelchairs,’ which was put into place by the Biden administration in December 2024, with an effective date of January 16.
