There is a solid argument to be made that the Northrop Grumman B-2 Spirit Bomber might be the most impressive military aircraft ever developed. The plane, which was designed as a strategic bomber to serve as the most deadly weapon of the United States Air Force, differs from other bombers in a few key ways. It does not distinguish itself by being exceptionally fast, nor does it carry a larger payload than any other strategic bomber in production.
