Over the past few months, commercial aircraft manufacturers have struggled to balance a constantly shifting economic environment and onerous trade barriers, ones which are wreaking havoc on supply chains. In a move that many could have seen coming, it appears that China is beginning to shift its allegiances away from US-based manufacturer Boeing and towards its principal European competitor, Airbus.
