Without engines, aircraft would not be able to fly, as they rely on the thrust generated by the engines to move forward. There are many different types of engines available for commercial aircraft, built by a variety of manufacturers, including the likes of Rolls-Royce, Pratt & Whitney, and GE Aerospace.
