Airlines have two different kinds of flights that they can choose to operate, and each of these kinds of services has a unique purpose. As a passenger, you might not even be aware of the difference or understand the reasoning behind the distinction between the two. These are, of course, seasonal and year-round services, with the former primarily aiming to target peak-season demand while the latter caters towards more consistent passenger flows.
