Tom Elliott has called on the state government to come clean on how much extra the cost blowouts are in relation to the Metro Tunnel project.
It comes after the revelation two of the stations, Town Hall and State Library, could be skipped in order for the project to open by the end of the year.
“The government seems to forget here, the money they are spending is not its money, it’s our money,” the 3AW Mornings host said.

It seems like forensic Audit is needed for SRL…..it seem Vic tax payers not not getting their money worth on this project. pushing ahead….
With little no business case before it took place seems a recipe for mis use of the funds allocated to construct and deliver this project! I understand it had blown out in cost…. it seem some $$$$ has ended up in someone’s paypackets!!!
