The onset of the coronavirus pandemic brought the modern commercial aviation industry screeching to a halt at the start of 2020. While airlines and airports around the world have since bounced back strongly in the years that have followed, some are struggling to cater to the boom in demand due to aircraft delivery delays. These have prompted carriers to keep older aircraft for longer or cut flights altogether.
