An Alaska Airlines Boeing 737 aircraft suffered a tire issue on Monday during takeoff from Chicago O’Hare International Airport for its flight to Portland International Airport. While sometimes such incidents require planes to turn around and land at the airport of origin, in this case, it was considered safe to continue the flight to its destination.
