The US Department of Defense (DoD) has revealed that it will reduce planned F-35 purchases under its fiscal 2025 budget amid funding cuts. Under its long-term plans, the Pentagon wants to acquire up to 2,500 of the advanced combat jets, which were recently approved for full-scale production.
