$14.5 Billion: Etihad Airways Orders 28 Boeing 777Xs & Boeing 787s

In mid-May, Etihad Airways placed an order for 28 Boeing widebody aircraft in a deal that has a total value of nearly $14.5 billion when accounting for both the plane manufacturer and engine supplier, GE Aerospace.
