In a May 3 statement, Memphis International Airport (MEM) announced that Delta Air Lines is starting a new route of 964.45 miles (1,552.13 kilometers) between MEM and New York City’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK). The new route will connect MEM and JFK with a Delta Connection Embraer E175 operated by Republic Airways, and can serve to connect MEM users with international destinations plus New York City.
