When we reported in February of this year that US President Donald Trump was touring a privately-owned Boeing 747-8, we somewhat thought this was just a publicity stunt to highlight that he wanted Boeing to move faster on the two VC-25Bs undergoing work to become the new pair of Air Force Ones. However, it does indeed seem like the government is moving to modify this other aircraft to be the new presidential transport!
