Why Hasn’t Lufthansa Retired Its Boeing 747s?

Germany’s flag carrier, Lufthansa, is one of the largest airlines in Europe. With a diverse fleet and a network that stretches to most corners of the globe, an iconic aircraft in it’s fleet is the Boeing 747, which remains a backbone for Lufthansa’s long-haul operations. When does Lufthansa plan to retire the Queen of the Skies and utilize newer aircraft capabilities and technologies?
