As we reported last month, the Mid Hants Railway – Watercress Line is inviting members of the public to take a ride on board its newly-restored SR ‘Merchant Navy’ No. 35005 ‘Canadian Pacific’.
The Watercress Line has announced that the Battle of Britain Class Pacific, 34059 ‘Sir Archibald Sinclair’, will be the second visitor for their Autumn Steam Gala.
This year marks the 80th anniversary of VE Day, and The Watercress Line plans to celebrate it and relive the victory.
