The three-day event will run from 15 to 17 August in Surfers Paradise, and will this year include a new STEM Zone for younger attendees alongside the aerial displays and ground entertainment.
Bennet is appearing at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh in Wisconsin, which runs from 21 to 27 July this year and regularly attracts more than 600,000 people and 10,000 aircraft. He will perform in Paul Bennet Airshows’ signature Wolf Pitts Pro.
Speaking to Australian Aviation, Kevin Elliott, Code Four CEO and director of the airshow, said the team had considered other options to hold the event after beach erosion scuppered its normal venue of Surfers Paradise, but found them all lacking.
The Airshow will take place over the weekend of 27 and 28 September 2025 with gates open at 9am and flying displays to be conducted from 11am to 4.30pm. Tickets officially went on sale on August 13.
