In a damning report, the ATSB said complaints were received by CASA against Broome Aviation from both pilots and a passenger, one of which stated the mentality the owner and manager wasn’t “conducive to safe aviation practices”.
The airline, which began operating between Cairns and Hamilton Island in November – reviving a former QantasLink route – now says on its website that the twice-weekly flights are being replaced by “personalised services”.
